What is the history behind the Energy Max Panel?
Having build hundreds of homes, the owners of Supreme Energy Products, knew there had to be a better way to insulate buildings without costing a fortune. For two years, they worked on coming up with a solution. They’re innovative thinking and dedication to contributing to their industry resulted in the development of the Energy Max Panel and Installation System. The partner’s intent is to revolutionize the way homes are built… providing a product that offers incredible energy savings and yet won’t cost an arm and a leg.
How does this product compare to fiberglass insulation?
There really is no comparison. Although fiberglass is the most common product used and has been the industry standard for decades… it is not the best choice. The Energy Max Panel and System creates a continuous R value of 18.8, including around windows, with the 4″ product. Fiberglass insulates only the cavity between the studs and although it claims a higher R value performance, it actually performs at an R value of 7.1 – non-continuous. In addition, overtime, the Energy Max Panel never deteriorates and the R value doesn’t change.
Is the Energy Max Panel less expensive than fiberglass?
No it’s not, but it is only slightly more expensive. And, since you will save up to 70% in heating and cooling costs per year, the minimal difference in cost will be quickly made up.
How does it compare to other insulation systems?
Although cavity fill spray foam insulation, SIP’s and ICF’s are all good insulation choices, they are more expensive than the Energy Max Panel and there are still thermal bridging issues when they are used.
How is the siding attached?
Your siding is attached to the wood battens. If you are using stucco, you’ll want to order our product for that type of exterior. In that case, the battens are extended out from the panel so you maintain a drain plain.
Where can I purchase the Energy Max Panel?
It is available directly through Supreme Energy Products. Simply call or email to receive a price quote.
How long does it take to receive the panels once they are ordered?
The typical turnaround time is 2 weeks.
Why is it considered a green product?
Because it offers substantial environmental advantages with energy efficiency, recyclability, mold resistance, indoor air quality and the unique ability to be reclaimed if needed.
